After four days of intense building, brainstorming, and bonding, Demo Day arrived — and it honestly felt like the perfect grand finale.
We moved the whole crew to a breezy open-air restaurant in the Nagarjun hills, with a sweeping view of the Kathmandu Valley. Pretty unreal setting for a demo day, and the vibes matched.
What went down
Each team had 5 minutes to present their project and 3 minutes for Q&A. We broke things up with a quick round of brain-teasers led by Harrison Kim from Sui Foundation (which, surprisingly, everyone crushed, by the way).
Then came a cultural performance by kids from Homework Halchowk, a non-profit initiative by Ibriz.ai, followed by closing remarks from Phuntso Namgay (Druk Holding and Investments) and Harrison Kim (Sui Foundation). Both reminded us why events like this matter: they’re not just about code — they’re about connection and community.

All project submissions were handled via sui-spark.ibriz.ai — a tool built in-house by iBriz.ai, and recently selected in Sui Overflow 2024. It kept the backend smooth so teams could focus on what they came to do: build.
What’s Next?
The Hacker House may be over, but it is clear this isn’t the end. If anything, this week sparked something bigger — a growing, grounded, and connected Sui builder community in Nepal.
We’re just getting started. Whether it’s through local meetups, online workshops, or future Hacker Houses, we’re excited to keep creating spaces where people can collaborate and build real things with Sui.
