Pre-Events: Setting the Stage for Sui Hacker House Kathmandu

To lay the foundation for Sui Hacker House — Kathmandu, we hosted a series of three pre-events designed to introduce key ideas and bring together curious minds from Nepal and beyond. These sessions played a vital role in nurturing engagement and building momentum within the local ecosystem.

1. AIxBlockchain Meet (Online)

Led by mentors from iBriz.ai, this session introduced participants to the intersection of AI and blockchain, sparking discussions and framing the potential of the synergy of AI and Blockchain, and building on Sui for next-gen applications.

2. AI & Blockchain 101 (In-Person)

Held in iBriz.ai’s own workspace in Chhauni, Kathmandu, this workshop created space for developers, students, and enthusiasts to interact face-to-face, explore the basics of AI and Blockchain, form connections with other teams, and network with the mentors.

3. Building AI Agents (Online)

This workshop focused on practical techniques for creating AI-driven tools and agents, aligning well with the Hacker House tracks and Sui Primitives that would be used in the hackathon.

These pre-events were not only educational but also acted as a catalyst to build a sense of community and momentum for the intense 5-day hackathon. As we continue building and nurturing the Sui ecosystem in Nepal, these pre-events marked an important first step toward a stronger, more connected network of builders.
