While iBriz is known globally for its innovative contributions to blockchain and Web3 ecosystems, there’s another side to our mission—one that lives not in code or conferences, but in the heart of a quiet hilltop community in Kathmandu.
HW Halchowk: A Classroom of Hope
Two years ago, iBriz quietly sowed the seeds of change in Halchowk by starting HW Halchowk, a nonprofit after-school tuition center dedicated to supporting local children. What began as a small initiative to address school dropouts has grown into a trusted community space where students come every day after school to learn, explore, and build confidence.
For one hour each evening, the walls of HWHalchowk echo with the sounds of curiosity. Local children receive free support in subjects they find challenging, as well as guidance in life skills—communication, collaboration, personal responsibility, and critical thinking. These are not just academic sessions; they are investments in self-worth and community development.
Empowerment Through Education and Culture
Recently, the children of HWHalchowk got a unique opportunity: to perform a cultural dance at the Sui Hacker House event hosted by iBriz. It was a moment of joy, pride, and discovery not just for the kids but for everyone present.
For many of them, it was their first time performing in front of such a large audience. The preparation, the stage, the applause, it offered a glimpse into a wider world and a newfound sense of possibility. It wasn’t just about showcasing tradition; it was about celebrating identity, resilience, and growth.
Building Beyond the Blockchain
At its core, iBriz believes in building technology, yes, but also communities and human potential. HWHalchowk is proof that real change starts locally. By reducing dropout rates and fostering holistic development, we’re not just shaping better students; we’re empowering future leaders.
We’re proud of what HWHalchowk has become, and even prouder of the children who walk through its doors every day with dreams in their eyes and determination in their hearts.
Because while code may change the world, compassion sustains it.
