Innovation, Collaboration, and a Whole Lot of Sui — All in One House
From April 21 to 25, Kathmandu played host to one of the most vibrant blockchain gatherings in South Asia — the Sui Hacker House. Nestled in the heart of Nepal, this five-day immersive event brought together 30 builders from Nepal, India, and Bhutan, along with global guests from Korea, Russia, and Bahrain, to explore, build, and collaborate on the future of blockchain.

The event created a unique melting pot of cultures, ideas, and technologies. Each day was packed with high-energy workshops, deep-dive sessions, and late-night building sprints. Builders had the chance to learn directly from experts and experiment hands-on with the Sui ecosystem.
Building with Purpose
(Project Demo at Final Day)
In total, 10 projects were submitted, ranging from AI-integrated tools and NFT utilities to on-chain gaming platforms. A dedicated On-Chain Gaming Track, sponsored by Vendetta City, offered not just rewards but mentorship and technical guidance throughout the week. Another standout feature was the Mindfulness Track, which encouraged participants to balance fast-paced building with intentional wellness — a unique touch that many found grounding and refreshing.
Beyond the Code
(starting the day with a Meditation Session)
The event wasn’t just about lines of code. From casual “Simon Says” games in tight spaces to poolside mindfulness breaks and collaborative dinners, the atmosphere was alive with camaraderie and creativity.
As Sui continues to expand its presence in South Asia, Sui Hacker House Kathmandu 2025 will be remembered as the spark that lit the flame.
